2015: Recycle Rush

 

 

Comal County Fair Parade:  September 26. 

In September 2014, our team participated in

the Comal County Fair Parade, which is a

community parade through downtown New

Braunfels. Hundreds of people from all around

the County come to participate in and watch

the parade. Many people approached us

curious about FIRST and our team.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Teddy Bear Drive for the Children’s

Berevement Center of South Texas: October.

As a team, we hosted a teddy bear drive in

our school for the CBC of South Texas.  We

donated approximately three boxes filled

with new and gently used stuffed animals

to the organization.

Kickoff: January.

On January 3, 2015, our team anxiously

gathered with other FRC teams at Rackspace

in San Antonio for Kickoff. There, representatives

from Rackspace spoke about upcoming programs

and camps they offer for FIRST students.  Then,

we viewed, along with the other teams from

around the world, the 2015 game animation,

introducing us to this year’s game: Recycle Rush.
