The build process is long and strenuous, but it is one of the most enjoyable things to see the robot go for the first time. The build season started on the first Saturday in January, this is when we got the challenge from the officials at FIRST. The build team decided that the first thing we needed to do was build a base for the robot then design an arm system around the base. The arm was a set of channel that was attached to the base with pneumatic cylinders with wheels at the end of the channel. This allowed for us to pick the ball up and move it around the course. The overall build season was fun and exciting.
